The Board of Directors supervises the Think Tank’s day to day management.
Gaspard Koenig was born in 1982. After graduating in philosophy (Ecole Normale Supérieure, Agrégation) he went on to teach at the University of Lille III. Gaspard then became Christine Lagarde’s speechwriter when she was France’s Finance Minister. In 2009, he joined an international development Bank in London. He launched GenerationLibre in april 2013. He is a published author and appears regularly in the media.
Edouard Fillias is an entrepreneur, specialised in communication and digital strategies. Graduate of Sciences Po Paris and HEC Business School, he created the association Liberté Chérie ! and Alternative libérale, a liberal political organization. Edouard Fillias started as a consultant at Digimind, a software editor specialized in strategic planning. In 2007, he has joined Image & Stratégie agency as a coordinator of the digital strategies department. In 2012, he co-created JIN, a consulting agency in digital influence. Edouard Fillias is co-author of Liberté, Liberté Chérie (2004), Le Manifeste des Alterlibéraux (2007) and E-Réputation: Stratégies d’influence sur Internet (2010 – republished in 2013).
Grégoire Lucas is a partner and consultatnt at Image7 since 2004. Graduate of Sciences Po Paris and ESCP Business school, he also holds a Masters Degree in Finance. After starting his career as parliamentary assistant, Grégoire Lucas became project director of a digital communication consulting firm before moving to the French Government Information Service.
Thibault Dornon was born in 1979 in the Atlantic Pyrenees region. He studied history at the Ecole Normale Superieure and at Trinity College, Cambridge. He also holds a political science degree in public affairs. After having graduated from the Ecole nationale d’administration (ENA) Thibault joined the Cour des Comptes (the French national audit body). He is also a teacher at Sciences-Po.
Olivia Penichou was born in 1968. A media professional, she started her career in 1990 at the National Assembly in Paris as communications adviser for the UDF group (centre-right). In 2005, she joined Christine Lagarde as her PR both in France and abroad. In 2007, Olivia founded the agency “O2P Conseil” to help companies and institutions with their communication needs.
Mathieu Laine founded and runs Altermind, a consultancy for businesses and governmental agencies. He is a French attorney and lecturer at Sciences-Po and is the author of numerous essays and articles, most notably those dealing with risk, the Welfare State and respect for property rights.
Rafael Samuel-Lajeunesse is a Portfolio Manager with an international financial institution and worked previously with McKinsey & Co. Specialist of the energy, industrial and financial sectors, he graduated from EM Lyon, Solvay (ULB) and The Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania). He has also taught at the London Business School.
