Who are we?
GenerationLibre is a French think-tank created by Gaspard Koenig in 2013, independant from all political parties, which aims at promoting freedoms in France, in terms of fondamental rights, economics and societal issues. GenerationLibre is in line with the tradition of the French « jacobinisme libéral », according to which the State must first and above all emancipate the people from its supervision. With the digital revolution undergoing, we must prepare an open world where autonomy and spontaneous cooperations will replace centralized structures.
- • Convinced that the battle of ideas is the first to fight, GenerationLibre contributes to the public debate and develops a coherent political programme on every main subject of public policies.
- • Financed by individual donations mainly, GenerationLibre intends to remain independent from every political party and company, to preserve its freedom of speech.
- • Just like Anglo-saxon think-tanks, GenerationLibre attaches great importance to Media – written press, radio, TV – to maximize the spread of the ideas we promote.
In coordination with our network of Experts, we publish academic research papers, on a regular basis. These works define disruptive scenarios of precise reforms. GenerationLibre also organizes regular debates and meetings to gather together the new, creative and entrepreneurial generation.
GenerationLibre has a Strategic Board of high-profile thinkers and economists and an Administrative Board of directors who supervise the daily management of the think-tank and its global strategy. Our network of Experts contributes to and reviews our papers. We also call upon specialized experts and academics on an ad hoc basis.
